Fabian Garcia was appointed Business Group President, Personal Care in July 2022.
Business Group President, Personal Care
As Business Group President, Personal Care and a member of the Unilever Leadership Executive, Fabian is responsible for Unilever’s deodorant, skin cleansing and oral care categories globally, as well as the Unilever International Global Business Unit. In this role, Fabian oversees Unilever’s category-leading, innovation-powered Personal Care brands including Dove, Rexona, LUX, Axe, Lifebuoy, Smile and Pepsodent.
Fabian joined the company in 2020 as President of Unilever North America, where he helped drive our mission to be the global leader in sustainable business through a number of strategic initiatives including industry-leading sustainable packaging development and an inclusive company culture, making Unilever an employer of choice.
Previously, Fabian served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Revlon between 2016 and 2018, including the integration of Elizabeth Arden. Prior to this, Fabian was Chief Operating Officer for Colgate-Palmolive, responsible for the Company's Global Innovation and Growth, including Global Marketing, Global Customer Development, Global Supply Chain, Global Business Services, Global Research & Development, and Global Analytics, Colgate's Shared Service Centers, as well as having geographic responsibility for the Europe/South Pacific Division and Hill's Pet Nutrition businesses. Fabian also led the company's multi-year restructuring plan.
Fabian was non-executive director of the Kimberly-Clark Company between September 2011 and December 2019 and was elected to the Board of Directors of Arrow Electronics since June 2021.
He is a member of the Council of Foreign Affairs. Fabian graduated from Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering.
