Srinivas Phatak
Srinivas was appointed as Acting Chief Financial Officer from 1 March 2025.
Acting Chief Financial Officer
Srinivas is an accomplished business and finance leader passionate about driving growth and delivering sustainable impact. In his career of over 25 years with Unilever, Srinivas has covered all parts of business and corporate finance. He also has experience of leading large scale transformation projects.
Prior to this, Srinivas was Deputy CFO and Controller responsible for managing Performance and Stewardship for the Group. He played a key role in our recent enterprise-wide transformation projects including the productivity programme, integrated operations and tech transformation.
From 2017 to mid-2021, Srinivas was CFO for Hindustan Unilever Limited and VP Finance South Asia. He played a key role in accelerating the growth of the business and driving value creation. During his tenure, the India business gained corporate share, grew over 7%, with over 300bps margin expansion leading to the doubling of HUL market capitalisation.
Srinivas is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant from India. He is married and currently lives in London.
Srinivas is a Non- Executive Director on the Board of Coats Plc.
